About the lecture:
Josh will talk about how harmony is actually a constant and consistent law of God and how Mary Baker Eddy’s discovery of these divine laws, which have been in operation throughout all time, can be brought to bear in any circumstance through holy inspired prayer. Christ Jesus mapped the way for all mankind to better understand God and feel His undiminished love which leads to harmony and healing. Josh will share examples of healing through Christian Science from his own life to help illustrate that everyone can experience the kind of harmony and healing that Jesus pointed to in his ministry. This lecture can be adapted for a prison or military audience.

About the speaker:
“For much of my life I’ve had a desire to serve others. This desire led to activities like tutoring, coaching, teaching Sunday School as well as serving in the Army. Each of these activities, but specifically the military service, significantly shaped my understanding of God and His unbreakable divine laws. It was there that I began to understand that this prayer-based system of healing that Mary Baker Eddy discovered and named Christian Science is the most significant thing in the world, for all mankind.
I genuinely feel that this Science of Christ healing is perfectly poised to help humanity today, liberating it from the oppressive nature of materialism and mortality with its sickness, sin and death. Since 2008, I have dedicated my full time and attention to the healing practice of Christian Science and am now teaching students how to effectively pray for themselves and others. During these past years dedicated to Christian Science it is the consistency of healing through prayer that has stood out to me above all else.
As a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship, I have shared the message of God’s healing and transforming love with diverse audiences in many parts of the world, discussing how to detect and overcome mental ambushes, shedding the burdensome weight of fear and doubt, as well as opening the doors to see the spiritual nature of life, health and prosperity. Today my lectures are designed to help newcomers and long-time members better understand Christian Science and the significance of its discovery and its discoverer, Mary Baker Eddy.
